Service Description

Welcome to our Minhwa class, a captivating journey into the world of traditional Korean folk painting. Minhwa, also known as "paintings of the people," holds a profound historical and cultural significance, making it an art form accessible to all throughout the centuries. Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, you will have the unique opportunity to learn the techniques and aesthetics of Minhwa painting. We will explore a diverse range of themes commonly depicted in Minhwa, including the beauty of nature, animals, folktales, and everyday life scenes. Our Minhwa regular class caters to artists of all levels, from beginners to advanced painters. With a collection of up to 1000 sample paintings, you can choose to replicate existing artworks or create your own original pieces from scratch. Our dedicated instructor, Yeun, will provide step-by-step guidance, from sketching to applying vibrant paints. Over the course of 10 sessions, you will complete 2-3 Minhwa paintings, and all the basic materials such as brushes, paints, and Korean paper will be provided. Join us on this artistic adventure and immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Minhwa, preserving and celebrating the essence of Korean folk culture through your own artistic expression. 👉🏻 Questions?
